White Star Stables Show Stoppers Youth Club

The purpose of Show Stoppers is to have fun and learn about horses and riding. In two years we have grown from twelve to twenty nine members! The age range is from 6-18. We are associated with the ASHA (American Saddlebred Horse Show Assoc. Youth Clubs of America).

We offer monthly meetings, BBQ's, field trips, clinics, fund raisers, horse show experience and contests. This year we have had a barn sleepover, an Easter Egg Hunt, field trips to a Mini horse farm and the Arabian Horsehow, a clinic on "Prepare to Show," and we have sold horse treats at several horseshows to raise money. Upcoming events include a Chili Cook Off and a consignment sale for horse and rider.

Our members can earn badges for Riding, Grooming, Horsemanship,Horse History and Safety. We will be taking a group of kids and parents to the National Convention in Lexington, KY this February. The annual dues are $25 and we encourage all members to also join the ASHA for an additional $35 per year Come see what all the fun is about!!
