Horse Decorating Contest
The White Star Showstoppers had a great turn out for the
Horse Decorating Part of the World Championships 2006.
They were displayed during the horse show. Along with
many others through out the country, they were judged
and auctioned off. The proceeds goes to the American Saddlebred
Youth Association. Below are just a few of the fantastic entries.

This was a great opportunity for local barns to get together
and sale their equestrian items. Plus for the chefs
of the group to compete in our first Chile Cookoff at
our new home. Kelli Mealey took direction over the consignment
sale which made over $1000.00 for the White Star Show
Stoppers Youth Group. We had 20 plus entries in the
Chile Cookoff which was very competitive and judged
in several categories.

The White Star Stables Team always enjoys the Pomona
show grounds and setting. The stalls are close to the
arena, great exibitor's to show with, plus a one of
a kind fair with amazing Fire Works at night. What tops
it off is we had a great show with Grand Championships
in the following: Three Gaited Amateur Aphrodite's Tears
with Lynda Lord, Three Gaited Park Propheteer with Suzanne
Lyons, Three Gaited Country Pleasure Junior Rider News
Stand with Hannah Vandeventer, Country Pleasure Driving
Mardi Gras Mambo with Paul Newton for Leanne Williams.
Plus we took home Championships in the Walk Trot 10
& Under Holy Fruit Salad & Kirwan Kennedy. Finally
in the Academy Division Joe and Ryan Kelledy both took
a blue with Thunder At Midnight in Walk Trot 10 &
Under and Walk Online. |

A Visit From Raising Arizona Kids Magazine 2006
As we pulled into the long, neatly
landscapped driveway at White Star Stables in Cave Creek,
I felt like we'd entered another world. Even much of
the language was unfamiliar to me.
I stepped across a patio into a cozy lounge that serves
as a gathering place for clients. One more step and
I was standing on a thick layer of wood chips in a sweet-smelling
stable where several beautiful, proud horses stood erect
in their stalls.
White Star relocated to this new site last year, with
many hours and several months sculpting an elegant,
meticulously groomed ranch from a scrap of desert that
wouldn't have shown much potential to the rest of us.
The result is nothing short of breathtaking: simple
but classy, quiet and amazingly clean. Horses, dogs
and even Araucanas Chickens (they lay blue/green eggs)
share this space in complete harmony.

The Latest Edition to White Star!
We have big plans for these Guineas! They are very
territorial, so we hope they can roam the property.
Plus we expect they will be entertaining to watch.
